very clean, almost non-existent nose. Very rounded, slightly tart mouth, slightly citrusy. Very low bitterness. Fuller body. Not bad but not sure where it’s going

slightly hazy golden color. Super juicy, citrusy mouth, the hyuganatsu is so well integrated. Super refreshing. Love it

Hazy golden color. Lots of cereal malts, hoppy grassy nose. Slightly sweet, lots of cereal notes and tons of hops. A bit sweeter than I would like but overall and great pils

A little darker than golden with little white head. Aroma is some bready malts, lots of yeasts, some fruit (maybe baked apple), cake, also some lettuce and clove. Taste is fresh fruity sour with some catchy artificial sweetness. Slightly syrupy, with medium carbonation, that fits well into the picture. No real finish. Overall a bit above average.

Takeout tap at CBM Koenji. Pours a clear gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates quickly. Light grainy malt nose with clean and fresh citrus zest with a touch of tangerine. Fruit is well-integrated. Nice clean grain-forward flavors on the palate with a rush of tangerine and hyuganatsu that shine. Easy drinking, with the finish being zesty and refreshing. Not cloying or overly sweet at all. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hyuganatsu Lager on 18 Aug 2016 at 19:37 - Score: 7. Original review text: Oh I like this. Great citrus flavor, light and refreshing. Crisp And clean on the finish with zesty zing!

Poured from the tap at Before9. Mild hazy pale yellow with almost no head. Sweet citrusy grapefruit dominates with some grainy lager undernotes.

Bottle picked up at uptown market. Pours out dark brown almost black topped with a fizzy head. Nose is very sweet big vanilla milk chocolate roast malts and a nice nutty notes. Taste is more of the rich roast malts milk chocolate sweetness vanilla and plenty of nutty notes.

On tap at PIB 2016, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a reddish tinge and a small tan head. Aroma brings out cocoa, dark fruits, and chestnuts - very soft-smelling. Flavour is along the same lines, with loads of fairly dry cocoa and light toasted chestnut presence. Light-bodied for the style, but quite complex. Really nice.

The correct name of this Beer would be Hideji Beer Miyazaki no Minori Yuzu, I’m fairly sure it is a lager as well as it is part of a series supporting Miyazaki Agriculture which if memory serves are all lagers. Served in a weizen glass it looks similar with a milky honey gold and thick foamy head that laces the side of the glass. The aroma is spot on fresh spritzy yuzu with mild lime notes. Fairly light bodied with a dry finish. The taste is mostly yuzu and dry soda bread malt notes. It doesn’t come off as very beer like but it drinks easily and the dry finish makes for a refreshing summer drink.

Bottle from MItsuya. Simple malt-forward nose, maybe some light peach and apple as it warms, but not much. Creamy on the palate. Light bodied with a touch of sweetness, but not overly so. This gets better as it warms up. Very nice little beer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Taiyo Lager on 23 Apr 2016 at 17:56 - Score: 7. Original review text: Creamy mouthfeel. Light bodies some sweetness and a lingering light malt flavor. Tasty.
