(Can) Pours clear golden Myer with small white head. Pleasant aroma: grassy with notes of biscuit malt and bread. Medium body with good carbonation. Good taste. Some citrus at the start. Some pleasant biscuit malt and then a nice grassy bitterness develops into the finish. Good drinking.

(Can) Pours clear pale golden with big white head. Intense yuzu aroma - apparent as soon as I opened the can! That’s not a criticism as it’s very pleasant. There are hints of biscuit malt too. Light body with plenty of soft carbonation gives a great mouthfeel. The taste is goo and surprisingly well balanced given the aroma. There’s plenty of yuzu, but also biscuit malt. Very refreshing and enjoyable.

(Bottle - this 2026 version is 6%) Pours black with a good, but short-lived, mid-brown head. Nice aroma of dark roast malt with coffee notes. Medium body with bright carbonation. Great taste. Nicely balanced. Dark roast malt, with coffee notes to start with dark chocolate notes developing in the mid palate. Some fruity tartness hints. Very good.

(Bottle) Pours very dark brown with small shirt-lived tan head. Lovely aroma - roast malt, chestnuts, chocolate, toffee with vanilla, woody and earthy hints. Medium body with fine carbonation. Exceptional taste. Rich, complex and so well balanced. Dark toffee, chocolate, chestnuts, vanilla, brown sugar with a nice balancing bitterness at the end. Very good.

CBJ tasting, thanks to Tips for the bottle. Clear dark amber beer, small and short lived tan head. Airy and fairly dry palate, modest fine carbonation. Thin malts, some sweet chocolate and oats and a little ripe fruits. Light and semi dry finish. Ripe and sweet.
