As you’d expect. The grapefruit taste shines through, the saison element is subdued but hideji does kind of do things this way. Nice though!

Interesting, with a solid nuttiness underneath modest notes of cocoa, coffee, caramel, and a little anise. Kind of wimps out on the back end, though; finishes with lingering chestnut but not much else. Thin texture, but hides the booziness well.

Bottle from Yamaoka. Lemony, fruity nose, tropical fruit, esters, biscuity malt. More fruity than the pilsner version. Deep gold, hazy, low head. Sweet and fruity, nice pilsner malt, good tropical and citrus fruit flavors. Nice, not quite coming together as well as the lager version, but fun to try and tasty.
