Bottled at Växjö Ölfestival. Cloudy golden, small head. Appley grassy nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and grassy, peach and dough. Low bitterness.

Pours hazy mahogany with small beige head. The aroma is sweet caramel with a distinct nuttiness and a few acidic fruit notes. The flavor is, well, chestnut, with a caramel sweetness behind it.

Bottle from Taniguchi. Rich, malty nose like a doppelbock. Caramel, chocolate, nuts, raisins, and a bit of sherry or port. Very chewy. Reddish brown, lightly hazy, with a low lacy head. Rich malty flavor, nice tangy fruits, rich chocolate fudge, good bitter and tangy to balance. I really like this. Nice acidity with some citrus and light bitterness, but balances out well. Not sure if I get chestnuts per se, but it is a bit nutty. full but not heavy. Very nice stuff.

Draft @ Bishops Arms Savoy, Malmö. Pours a slightly hazy amber orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy dark fruit and caramel aroma. Sweetish malty spicy warming dark fruit and caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty spicy dark fruit and caramel finish.
