Bottle 568ml. @ ChrisO Snow Tasting.Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, light caramel, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130120]

Bottle at ChrisO Snow Tasting. It pours deep ruby with a small white head. The nose is caramel, bread, red berry and a touch of citrus. The taste is toast, red berry, caramel, leather, wood, citrus pith and a some plastic with a dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Smooth, but lacking in flavour. Very so-so.

Bottle at ChrisO Snow Tasting. It pours deep brown with a small off-white head. The nose is caramel, coffee grinds, roasted malt, faint meat and vinegar. The taste is dark fruit, wood, leather, earth, faint tartness and vinegar with a dry finish. Thin-medium body and moderate carbonation. Quite bland indeed and not loving those light vinegar notes….

Bottle at Chriso’s snow tasting 20/01/2012. Orange / amber with a beige head. Slick and thin . Slightly stale, manure aroma. Uninteresting.

Bottle at Chriso’s snow tasting 20/01/2013. Dark brown, no head. Earthy roasty farmyard aroma with a little manure. Flavour is better than aroma. Fruity soft roast some berry. Soft carbonation sweetish finish.

Taste follows, bland, light fruit notes, boring nothingness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, some light bitterness in the finish. No thanks.

Bottle at Chriso Snow Tasting, thanks to Chris, 20/01/13. Lightly hazed copper brown. Nose carries light citrus fruti, touch of pale malt, faint hops. Taste follows, pale malt mergeing with light fruity dulness. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Sub par twiggy dullard.

Taste follows, fruits, honey, sugars, a bit on the bland side. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, some bitterness in the dry finish. File under ’W’ !

Nose is dark malt, light pissy dung, toffee, hint of chocolate. Taste comprises roast malts, sugars, barley, chocolate. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish. Ok.

Bottle at the ChrisO Snow Tasting, London - yet another Buckden score! Pours clear, light gold with a fine, bubbly white head. Dry, grainy bread aroma. Light sweet flavor with faint berries and semi-dark malts. Light bodied with average carbonation. Mellow dryness in the finish, with lightly toasted and bready malts and mild, leafy bitterness. A fine sessioner, nothing more.
