Black with thin creamy head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of heavily roasted malts. Slightly smokey. Good body.

Cask at Roscoe Head, Liverpool. It pours clear golden with a medium foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, bready, brown bread, touch of cherry pie, marzipan, jelly beans and almond. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, real cherry vibe (not overdone), berry skin, earthy, spicy, pithy citrus and a touch of varnish with a firmly dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Thankfully doesn't have that all too common fake cherry vibe in beer. Works pretty well.

Cask @ Mold Alehouse. Pours amber, creamy off-white head. Smooth malt on the palate with a faint sweetness, a touch leafy with a low bitterness. Not a pale ale by any stretch, but pleasant, easy-going and light all the same.
