Danke Erzengel! Pours a clear reddish-amber with a thin white head. Aroma of slightly earthy, sweet malt, caramelized. Taste has very pleasant grain notes, some light hops punctuate the malt, light berry elements that don't conflict with the malt. Palate has continued caramel malt, quick hit of cinnamon, more sweetened grain. Fantastic.

Fles thuis. Redelijk helder roodbruin bier met mooie stevige schuimkraag. Smaak is bitterzoet met iets van karamel, bramen, bessen en iets van toffee. Echt een herfstbier.

Clear deep ruby brown colour, good frothy beige head, stays a while, good lacing. Aroma roasted malt, roasty, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon. Taste medium sweet and bitter, roasted malt, caramel, coffee, liquorice. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, lingering sweetbitter aftertaste, good sturdy doppelbock.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks very simple but good. Beer in the glass brownish, small head. Sweetish aroma. Starts fine malty, sweetish, notes of toffee, some raisins. Finish mild sweetish malty. Interesting.
