Can to becher glass.
Appearance: burnt yellow to orange haziness with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: orange, piney, pineapple and mango hop tones; light clean bready malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine juicy bittersweet to piney sweet quality; finishes pineapple-y and piney with a little bit of hop spice
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness along the tongue but also a little bit of acceptable dryness
Overall: a very nicely done New England styled IPA I would return to.

Overall: a very nicely done New England styled DIPA I would return to.

Appearance: burnt orange haziness with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: mango, passion fruit and pineapple hop tones with some clean biscuity malts
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a nice juicy bittersweet blend; finishes with all those previously mentioned fruit aromas
Texture: medium bodied - maybe a touch under; leaning into being sessionable; some smoothness but also a little bit of hop assertiveness (just nothing that noticeable)
Overall: a very nicely done New England styled IPA I would return to.

27 February 2026. BCBS Tasting @ Stacks (Sint-Kruis). Cheers to Ward for hosting the event!

Pretty yellow. Freshly squeezed orange, peach, passion fruit, white onion, hashish. Sweet orange, papaya, passion fruit, bitter grapefruit & scallion, dank hashish, doughy malts. Floral & peppery hops, juicy citrus peel, bitter grapefruit, warming gin-like alcohol. Medium body, fluffy texture, average carbonation. A real hop bomb, great stuff.
