Bomber courtesy of tkrjukoff. Thanks man! Pours oily pitch black with a thin dark mocha head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and malty with roasted malts, burnt caramel, toffee, vanilla fudge, charred slightly buttery wood, sweetened dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, red chill, roasted coconut, moist soil, hay and bourbon alcohol. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, burnt caramel, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark chocolate, brown sugar sweetened dark roast coffee, dates, dark chocolate, moist soil and intense bourbon alcohol. Mouthfeel is fat, round, round, slightly sticky sweet, boozy and near full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with roasted malts, burnt caramel, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, burnt raisins and burning bourbon alcohol. Very hot but in a good bourbon whiskey way. Very nice decadent US imperial stout.

Bottle courtesy of tkrjukoff. Pours oily pitch black with a thin dark mocha head that leaves a thin ring of trace on the glass while quickly dissipating. Smell is intense and malty with roasted malts, caramel, vanilla fudge, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, soy sauce, chocolate covered cherries, raisins in rum, Schwarzwald cake, salty liquorice hard candy, moist soil and bourbon alcohol. Taste is equally intense, sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, burnt caramel, toffee, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, dried pine needles, hay, moist soil, salty liquorice hard candy, soy sauce, raisins, prunes, dates, high quality mature high fat salami, walnut skins and bourbon alcohol. Mouthfeel is enormous, fat, oily, round, tiny roasted astringent and full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with roasted malts, burnt caramel, Brazil nut fudge, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, soy sauce, raisins, dates, moist soil, bourbon alcohol, chocolate cake and hints of charcoal. Wow! While they’re not similar in their presentation the last time I had this kind of experience was the first time I tried Kaggen. Every drop is packed with intense flavours and those flavours are plain amazing. Wow! This is equally good but different. Second best IS I’ve ever tried.

Bomber @ Sahtipaja courtesy of tkrjukoff. Pours hazy golden with a frothy white head that leaves some thick trace and lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity and grassy with crackers, grapefruit juice, freshly cut grass, pine needles, bergamot and lemon zest. Taste is bitter, fruity and slightly grassy with white bread, grapefruit juice, freshly cut grass, pine needles, minerals, kumquats and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is soft, slightly dry, astringent, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with white bread, grapefruit juice, freshly cut grass, pine needles, minerals and lemon zest. Classic flavours in a solid tasty IPA.

Bottle ( very damn fresh ! ) thnx to Geoffrey . Pours clear blonde , rather small white head. Smell is mango , bitter, bit grassy . Taste is bitter, very much mango , with a juicy aftertaste of that same fruitstyle . Some bitterness fading towards the end ( beginning is intense though ) . Nice, typical TG DIPA , fruity , perhaps - like most of their hoppy ones - even a bit overkill , yet really fun to try and really fresh . Keep up the good works !

Bottle with a big thanks to ( once again ) geoffrey ! Pours rather clear blonde . Small to OK white head , Powerfull hoppy smell , as always with TG IPA’s , this one is very damn fruity . Mango , pineapple are the 2 biggest scents here . Taste is bitter ( very bitter ) , pure sun-in-a-glass freshness . I do get the ’imperial ’ factor here . Very fruity ( add Pine to the earlier found fruityness ) . Tad dry aftertaste , lingering for just that bit more . Might need a bit more maltyness for my taste to really join in with the TOP beers in the style , but this is certainly damn fine & smooth as a daisy

Tap at Brickhouse. Deep opaque brown body. Creamy beige head. Sweet and malty. Kind of sugary. Big, rich flavors. Has a roasty quality not unlike a stout at times. Quality ingredients, but sort of overloaded. Sweet brown ale, too sweet really. More on par with hoppy TG lineup. Diabetes brown ale.

Tap at Brickhouse. Unfiltered, thick, yeasty, dulled tan body. Big, steady, creamy, off-white head. Yeasty and creamy on the palate, almost has a nitro feel...maybe the end of the keg. Really nice hop feel, but not as pronounced as some of its TG brethren. Earthy, grassy, cool, crisp hop feel approaching green onion, garlic. Good. Impressive Columbus display.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is very fruity, with tropical fruits, piney hops, and slight floral notes. Flavour is quite bright, with melon, light citrus, light hops, and mineraly notes. I'd say this is overrated, but this is certainly nice. Characterized by the melon. Good beer.

Bottle shared at The Hague New Year Whale Session. Pours black with a small thick brown head. Massive aroma as soon as the bottle is popped with roast, big molasses, bourbon, woody barrel notes, vanilla, fudge, milk chocolate and light coffee notes. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter. In the palate it’s like a box of milk chocolates with fudge and a glass of pappy on the side. Simply mind blowing. The mouthfeel is thick and oily, warming, soft, incredible. Full bodied with soft carbonation. It lives up to hype. Surely a stout cannot get any better.

Daffodil and lilly bouquet with marshmallow peep accents, not strong. Cloudy amber, thick sticky yellow head. Lilly flavor, mild malt sweetness. Medium body, soft carbonation, fabulously smooth. Tasty and satisfying, good balance, not much complexity.
