Can shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a mostly clear orange gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Slighly boozy nose with apricot, pineapple and citrus aromas that dominate. Smoother on the palate with the alcohol less noticeable. Lingering tropical hop notes with some pine and faint caramel. Pretty solid for the abv. --- Beer merged from original tick of ZZ Hop Triple IPA on 20 Apr 2019 at 08:29 - Score: 7

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma is lightly bready/caramel with hop that’s reminding me of Cluster. Sort of floral/earthy. Not getting the citrus advertised! But that may just be me. Pretty dry. At least moderately hoppy. More than moderately bitter. Strong, but not harsh. Likin’ it.

Tap at Flaming Grill in West Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Juicy aroma. Med body. Flavor seems juicy citrus, pale stone fruit and perhaps tropical. Juicily undry. Very hoppy. Part way to dank. Medium bitter. Delicious.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours hazy slightly orangey gold with a white head. Aroma isn’t strong, but seems fruity. Med body. Flavor is sort of tobacco/leather with lots of pale stone fruit. Earthy. Mixed juicy/dank in a very mild way. Scratch the t/l, it’s something else I can’t pin down. Quite nice. Reasonably dry; decently bitter.

Fat bästa ölbaren i San fransisco. Ljus relativt klar Dipa. Omedelbart i munnen blommor, tulpaner åh sån skit. Fin lång eftersmak av blommorna och grönt äpple samt lite apelsin . Fan god

Bottle from Bottle Barn. Light golden pour with skin of head. Aroma is light pine hoppiness. Taste takes over with a much more pronounced hop presence, bitter and sharp. Grains and malts lie underneath, but the piney hops lead the way. Bitterness lingers, actually quite stinging. Not the bitterest I've had, but up there.

2014 bottle. The beer pours a clear dark amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Aroma of oak, dark fruit, malt and yeast. Full-bodied with flavors of vinous oak, caramel malt, mild hops and yeast. The finish is oaky wine and malt. Pretty good overall.
