MAL trip: day 3/12 - The Sinhalese Bar in Ipoh, Perak, a large bottle. Aroma: a bit soapy. Appearance: clear light amber, 2-3mm. off-white head. Palate: light-bodied and slightly tart on the tongue, softish carbonation; leaves no strong impression on the palate. Taste: lightly sweet, a bit sour, grainy. Best drunk ice cold.

Bottled in Malaysia. Pours back, smallish head, incredibly sweet and some surprising character, almost an imperial stout to me.

330ml can from somewhere in KL. Poured a mostly clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is peachy, bubblegum. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a somewhat light, crisp, juicy peach palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A rather simple beer that I guess has a place in the market somewhere.
