Amber colour with a nice malty aroma, nutty tatste almost woody, with nice residual sugars. yummy beer from a fine brewery.

Mead is usually closer to a wine (mead made in QC anyways)...this stuff is carbonated like a malternative or a bubbly...what gives!!!looks like a bubbly rosée with a sour berry nose (not blueberry), tastes like a raspberry, ...very dispointing attempt at making a mead...the beer store attendant pointed it out the malt base, i should have steared clear from this...geared at the alcopop crowd...bad bad Trafalgar

Purple colour. Alcohol & black currants in the aroma. Wine-like body, fresh juicy flavours. The syrup comes on a little strong, outmuscling the alcohol. For me, this works but I know it's not traditional in a mead.

Has husky rye flavours and some faint spiciness. The label says that this is brewed under contract, but doesn't say for whom. It doesn't taste anything like Thurn und Taxis.
