Copper colored with a white head. Toasty, malty, rusty, grains, and some light sweet notes. Really a fairly run of the mill oktoberfest but this is one that someone could probably drink a liter or two of during an oktoberfest celebration.

On tap at Manayunk. It was poured into a plastic cup. Taste is peach with some american wheat behing it. Pretty good.

On tap at Manayunk, seems to be a once in a while brew. This is actually an imperial american wheat. Pretty high ABV, most of this is covered by american wheat flavor, but some alcohol still peaks out. The taste is usual american wheat, but with a little sourness.

On cask at Friday the Firkenteenth at the Grey Lodge Pub. Muddy, translucent orange with a frothy white head. Weak aroma, possibly because of the lack of carbonation, light citrus and lightly doughy. Flavor is sticky, sweet, oranges, grapefruit, boozy, tropical fruits. Full bodied, sticky, bitter finish. An easy drinker despite the 9% alcohol.

(11/16/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Philadelphia. Deep amber-brown color. Aroma of fruits, malt and some toasted notes. Sweetish flavor with fruits (although I don’t particularly notice the orange and cranberry), light spicy notes and caramel. Medium-bodied.
