12 ounce can. Hazy orange, large creamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of pine, orange, grapefruit. pale malt. The taste is grapefruit, lemon, pale malt with a bit of graininess. Medium bodied, crisp, moderate lingering bitterness, well balanced. Solid. But then again I just had a CIB, so maybe this crap and just tastes good by comparison. ;)

12 ounce bottle from Sendik’s. Hazy purple, thin fizzy head, poor retention. Aroma of pepper, tart jammy berries, lacto. The taste is juicy berries, tart lemony finish with some lacto. Medium bodied, very tart. Solid.

Pretty good brew. Just don’t think it’s a great one. The citra hops without the proper malt balance give a brightness that seems out of balance and not aesthetic for a good pale ale.
