750ml dark green bottle topped by a cork and a wire cradle. Bottled date: 14.02.2007. Bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes Tromsø. Copper coloured body with a slight haze. Circular edge surrounding the rim of the glass. Smell of acid citrus fruits, mellow cheese and old books. Pronounced tartness of grapefruits in flavour along with notes of apples, honey sweetness, dry cheese and yeast. Super dry on the swallow. Not bad, but drinking geuze is still an ongoing educational experience for me. (Tromsø, 03.07.2010)

Bottle.Dark reddish colour with medium pinkish head.Aroma of raspberrys and cherrys good sourish mouthfeels and dry bitter flavor note of tree and mazipan.

(Bottle, 0.375 l, at Pikkulintu) Poured pale golden and almost clear. Head was medium sized and white. Aroma contained fruitiness, sourness and cow house. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sourness, wood, malts, vomit and mildly bitterness. Aftertaste was sour and mildly bitter.

Realizing a bit late in the game that rating 1700 was upon me, this was the best i could do in quick fashion. The bottle was one that I looked at a couple of times in the store... 2006 vintage, but looked a little off... liquid level was low and body was very cloudy. Peeling back the foil confirms the assessment that this has leaked a bit. Hopefully there is no damage... Pours a dingy orange with absolutely no carbonation. Aromas are very nice... lemon peels, grapefruit rinds, a little bit of vinegar. Flavor is perfect... the lack of carbonation is the only issue here, but it is an absolutely wonderful lambic even with that limitation. Most of the flavor is grapefruit peels with a bit of a musty and woody edge to them.

Bottle 2000 @ Akkurat. To me this beer didn’t live up to the expectations at all. Its not very complex nor fruity. Maybe this has to do with agening as it showed some rather dull cellar qualties (mainly in the aroma). I can’t really see what the grapes have added to this beer either.

Bottle at Akkurat in July 2010. (Vintage 2000) I think it was really good but not brilliant. Balanced and fine, but I expected a bit more flavor from the grapes. Very dry finish.

Bottle.Orange colour with large white head.Aroma of sour apples wood and vinagar,good dry mouthfeels like dry champagne and German white wine well balanced and sour with nice dry finish.

Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Hazy amber, small head. Lemony nose. Vinegary acidity, soft and medium bodied. Freshly sparkling, stale grass and barnyard. Slight grapefruit bitterness. Lovely, refreshing lambic.

At a tasting, many thanks zvikar, small pinkish head, hazy red colour, aroma of cheese, vinegar and cherries with a touch of spiciness, flavour of cherries, nactarine and apricot, long sour and sweet fruity aftertaste which lingers pleasantly for a long time. A mellow lambic.

375 ml bottle. Dark red with small diminishing pink head. Aroma is sour and cherries. Flavour is tart, cherries and a little sweet.
