Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber orange with a tan head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has bitter citrus with a touch of earthiness and a bread backbone. Flavor has a bitter citrus and pine note with a bit of earthy grain backing.

On cask at Washington Brewers Cask Festival, pours a cloudy orange with a small beige head. Nose brings out lots of oranges and resinous hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with a residual sweetness that I'm not overly fond of. Decent but not my thing.

On cask at Washington Brewers Cask Festival, pours black with a medium tan head. Nose brings out lots of roasted malt along with a nice mix of dark fruits. Flavour is similar, with robust roasted malt upfront, accentuated nicely with dark fruits. Really well-balanced and crafted. Excellent.

Draft - Nice grapefruit nose. Dark clear gold with a decent beige head. Grapefruit pith, nice caramel balance and a light grapefruit finish. Nice light spice and great balance. Easy drinking.
