12oz bottle. Light gritty malt sweetness but not typical American sweet. Alcohol heft through out. Low hop and a sweet, slightly heavy mouthfeel.

Hazy golden and light copper coloured body with no head at all. Aroma of light cherries, a funky yeast, some brett and spontaneous fermentation notes along with a dose of lactose and caster sugar. Light-bodied; Very funky fake sugar sweetness with splenda and equal noticeable along with a dose of very mild and fake tasting cherries, really just the juice along with an odd wheat flavour and just about nothing else. Aftertaste shows the funk, a lot of lactose and pure caster sugars and very little else. Overall, a pretty big waste of a beer with nothing good coming out of this, perhaps some mild cherry notes and a relativly smooth flavour, but nothing great and no real beer for this style at all. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 03-December-2016 for US$2,25 sampled at home in Washington on 16-June-2017.

Fresh hop burn is strong here like the force. Green onion and orange. Lots of really freshly poured orange. Pours amber with decent head. Bitter finish. Tap at Savor.

Draft pour at Savor: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience 2017. Poured a cloudy orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma was nice resin notes, citrus hop notes. Flavor was pretty well balanced between hop and malts, some herbal notes.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a dark brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated fairly quick. No lace.
The aroma had some sweet milk chocolate, hazelnut, coffee creamer, coffee beans, roasted nuts and butterscotch.
The flavor lead with the sweet chocolate to butterscotch tones. Coffee beans seemed more of an afterthought. The aftertaste was the sweetness of the chocolate and butterscotch. Finish was sticky sweet.
The palate was about medium bodied, maybe just a tad under. Carbonation was low and the ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, seemed more of a sweet stout to me. Decent beer, though.
