Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with small white head that lasts. The aroma is peach candy and wheat. Thin body, light peach, easy drinking, not bad.

3 month old can A: Foam gusher so poured gently to still a huge lasting head. CLear actively carbonated pale gold body. Lots of lace from the out of control head. S: Nice toasty bread with subtle lemon. T: Dry cracker malt with a little bitter herbal hops. Lemon comes through as more zest and pith than juice or pulp. M: Fairly light, well carbonated and dry. O: Nothing to seek out but tastefully done and enjoyable.

12 ounce bottle with 12 19 stamped on the bottom of the bottle.

It says that it is unfiltered and the haze I'm seeing backs that up. It's an orange gold colour, has an impressive head of foam.

I get mild tropical fruit and pine in the smell along with caramel malt and orange zest.

Taste isn't too shabby though it falls behind the smell. Orange zest, citrus, not much of a tropical fruit presence. Fairly dry vs juicy. Malt is not sweet at all, more of a toasted flavour.

Front end of the mouthfeel is medium, back end is on the thinner side.

Not a bad effort at an IPA.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 8/5/2019. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy red cherries, fruit skin/pits, limes, citrus peel/zest, cracker, white bread, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of cherries, limes, pale malts, and moderate earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy red cherries, fruit skin/pits, limes, citrus peel/zest, cracker, white bread, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy cherry, skin/pits, limes, citrus peel/zest, cracker, white bread, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice robustness and balance of cherries, limes, pale malts, and moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero fruity/yeasty notes present. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness, tart/tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, and moderately bready/grainy/sticky/acidic/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a delicious fruited pale lager. All around nice robustness and balance of cherries, limes, pale malts, and moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/tart/tangy/drying finish; flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Nice juicy/vibrant cherry/lime fruit showcase; with a clean pils malt backbone, and nice earthy hop presence/balance for the style. Zero residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

12 ounce bottle, 6/11/19. Dark brown, red highlights. Large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roast, chocolate, tart cherry. Taste is chocolate, cocoa, cherries. Medium bodied, juicy. One of Spoetzl's nicer offerings. 400th Flavored - Fruit, ersomethin.

12 ounce bottle, 6/10/19. Dark brown, large foamy brown head, good retention. Aroma of sweet pecans, brown sugar, roast. Taste is roast, brown sugar, nuts. Thin, high carbonation. Kinda falls flat and could have easily been so much better.
