Description
Beavertown was founded in 2011 by Logan Plant, the son of Robert Plant, singer with Led Zeppelin. At first established as a brewpub in De Beauvoir Town, East London as part art of the Duke's Brew and Que experience. Expanding means moving! In 2012 to Hackney Wick and in 2014 to Tottenham Hale.
In June 2018, it was announced that Heineken would be buying a minority stake, so that Beavertown could spend £40 million on a new brewery and visitor site. The new brewery was launched in 2020, with a capacity of 500,000 hectolitres, a ten-fold increase in their previous capacity.
As of 7 September 2022 Heineken has taken complete control of Beavertown and now has 100 per cent ownership. Founder Logan Plant will stay on as an adviser.

On tap. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale, permanendo in maniera sufficiente.

22/VIII/24 - 33cl can from Weyermann Living & Drinking (Bamberg, DE), shared @ holiday in France, BB: 13/IX/24, canned: 13/XII/23 (2024-789)
Cloudy blond yellow beer, creamy small white head, unstable, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: lovely, lots of tropical fruits, juicy, some mango, very intense, a little floral, lovely. MF: lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: malty start, pretty bitter, some citrus, rather watery, a bit grassy, meh. Aftertaste: still watery, grains, citrus notes, a bit of tropical fruits, juicy, a bit thin, hoppy, ok but not great.

Ganske slank, men allikevel gode greier.

On tap. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, pino, agrumi, pompelmo, ananas e arancia.

440ml can from Morrisons, Sheldon. Poured a crystal clear yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is earthy malt, light tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, watery, herbal, super light citrus, funky yeasty dry bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Well there’s a few quid wasted. Poured the remainder down the drain. One of the worst beers I’ve had in a long time. Makes me wonder if something went wrong during brewing or canning. This probably speaks volumes about their quality control, but if this is indeed how it was meant to taste, it speaks volumes about the direction in which Heineken is taking this brewery!
