Hazy amber color with compact head. Fruity amber ale, with quite good malt and caramel flavor, mild fruity waves from the hops, very mild spruce; I find the final being just slightly too bitter and carrying some vegetable bitterness, less pleasant than. The rest.
Well brewed.

Dead Frog The Bold Belgian Pale Ale - Part of the BC Craft 6 pack from the LCBO. Served in a chalice, it pours a copper amber with a filmy beige head that lingers. It has a really nice fruity, almost juicy orange and light caramel malt aroma. Medium bodied with a spritzy carbonation & soft mouthfeel. The taste is nicely balanced bitterness, piney, light estery notes, some chocolate, a bit of cracker and an ascerbic bitter finish. Not terribly Belgian but good.

Hazy amber, bubbly head, aroma is a bit earthy, touch of fruity sweet, then some biscuity character. Ok, but the hops really lack freshness.

Hazy amber color, with small head. Bread and malt syrup aroma. Lean mouthfeel, the malt flavor is a bit chewy, moderately sweet, with strong bitterness, some hop resins.
Not a Bitter. Good English Pale Ale.

650 ml bottle. Pours an orange/amber with light to moderate head. Aromas of toffee, pine, and rubber. Flavors tropical fruit, light pine, and toasted malts. More of an American IPA than ESB, Rather light but easy to drink.

Cloudy copper color with creamy head. Mild aroma of banana and bubblegum, impression of stagnant water. very smooth mouthfeel; there is a different cereal, but it doesn’t show clear buckwheat character; quite spicy, coriander, and yeast; relatively bitter, with some fruity esters in the end.
It reminds me of many North American Saison or other attempts at Belgian styles. A bit confused, but it has some interest. Nice.

Still had some Winter Mixer packs left at The Beer Store. This was in it. Pours a clear rich honey amber colour with a creamy light-beige head, good retention and lacing, creamy again and wavy. Aromas of cereal grain, light sweetness from the citrus all balanced out with some grassy hops. Tastes like an amber as well, with none of the mandarin and oranges taking much place. If none at all. Seems like a decent regular amber ale as you do not taste the "pure orange oil" as listed in the ingredients. OK, maybe slightly in the aftertaste, after breathing a while.

Found in their Winter Mixer pack at The Beer Store, now under "Nut Brown". Pours a deep copper brown colour with a nice creamy light-beige head, good retention and some soapy lacing. Mild nutty malt aromas, but mostly red ale malts, with notes of roasted malts. Mild chocolate malt taste with some roastiness to it. Very light hops, but efficient. Pretty mild overall, but creates an easy-drinking nut brown.
