Bottle at home in London - picked up at Kris Wines. Pours clear yellow-gold with a foamy white head. The aroma has dried citrus, lemon, crackery pale malts, hints of straw and pine needles. Light sweet flavor with crispy pale bread, more crackers, wood, grass, grain, rindy lemon, pithy grapefruit. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Faintly resinous to finish with prominent rindy lemon, a little salty pine, dry and crackery pale malts, crispy hay, nips of grain husk. There’s a nice, clean bitterness to it. Good beer.

Keg at Crate - London. Pours unclear, rich gold with a creamy off-white head. A little funk in the nose, some grapefruit, peach, lemon, hay, horses. Medium sweet flavor with pale malt sugars, some oily pine, nectarine, peach, melon, tangerine, orange. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced to finish with a bit more funk, poo, farmyard, citrus, some tropical fruits, more grapefruit. Quite solid overall.

Draft. Cloudy golden color, white head. Bright bubblegum aroma. Taste is slightly sour grapefruit bubblegum. Not sure why the US is in the name, this tastes German to me!
