Can on Virgin Australia. A bit on the bland side, amber colored body with spare airy head. Some metallic taste, not very bitter.

This is a DISGRACE. An Australian national disgrace. Absolute cats you know what. These clowns have wacked ’Australian Pale Ale’ on the front label. Now everybody will think this is your standard craft Australian pale ale. Buy one from the 6 pack, and leave an unsaleable 5 pack in the fridge. Take it home and pour it on the weeds.

345ml bottle into glass. Pleasant wheat nose. Golden beer with no head, zero. Medium carbonation. Quite watery and thin but good finish. A bit bitter, nicely balanced with banana. A mixed bag.

On tap at the Australian hotel. Nice spicy hop nose. Clear golden beer with lots of carbonation. Taste is papery, wishy-washy, bland. Finish is neutral then late slight vegetal hops. Not great.

On tap at The Orient in The Rocks. Deep amber/red colour with thin head. Tiny aroma. Spritzy chalky in the mouth. Finishes with toasted malt, a little hop background. Quite watery. Forgettable.

On tap. Pours amber with a medium pillowy head. Neutral nose. Some hops, some malts, but really only hinted at. Clearly a pale ale nonetheless.
