Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Pours cloudy amber brown with a small creamy head and lacings. Liquorice, toffee and caramel. Smooth. Chewy. Soft.

Bottle 345ml. @ home.Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, warm citrus. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dry, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft. [20110813]

Bottle 345ml. @ home on the terrace.[ Courtesy of jannik ]. ABV: 4.5%. Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay - grass, moderate hoppy, flowers, grass - hay. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, light salty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110723]

Pours amber with a large, fading head.Nose shows soft spicy and floral hops with bready malt underneath.Flavours focus on the malt with more sweet bready characters and a bit of caramel. Could use some bitterness.Carbonation is a bit full on.Pretty decent and to style, apart from the unchallenged malty sweetness.

From a 345ml bottle on 24/7/2011. Pours a clear golden with a medium head. Has a very slight aroma of grainy, bready malt. Nothing of particular interest is evident in the taste. There’s the slightest hint of a citrus tang and a decent medium dry hop finish. An unexciting line and length brew.

From a 345ml bottle on 10/4/2011. Pours a dark orange approaching amber. Has a relatively slight aroma of fruit, nuts and malt. This is a bit of a weird one taste wise. Most prominent is sweet dark fruit, with some blackcurrant coming through, followed by a relatively short, tart, slightly peppery finish. Notwithstanding the presence of some fruity notes, I’m not sure this has been correctly charcterised as a fruit beer. Reminds me a bit of White Rabbit Dark Ale, but more a bit more harsh and less well balanced.

Light amber coloured body with some bright copper tints and a very thin white head. Aroma of light fresh hops with more of a malty kick and a light floral and perfumey scent. Light to Medium-bodied; Pungent hop notes with a little caramel and perfume kick shows well with a good malt backbone throughout. Aftertaste shows more malt and caramel than hops, but also some interesting subtlties show through as well. Overall, an okay beer without too much of a unique flavour or one resembling an APA much - more of a typical amber ale. I sampled this pint on draught at Cookie in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on 02-January-2010.
