Bottle at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig ’11. It pours ruby-brown, with a thin foamy white head and average carbonation. The nose is bubblegum, nut, wood and caramel. The taste is nut, wood, caramel, cardboard, roasted malt, astringency, brown sugar and treacle, with a dry-sweet finish. Medium bodied. Decent.

[500ml bottle from Tuckers Maltings, Newton Abbot] Pours a clear and very pale gold with a small, lasting white head and a slight tingly fizz. White pepper amd light malts at first, with floral hints. A growing lemon flavour gives a slight dry bitterness in the finish. A light yet tasty alternative to to lager on a hot day. c2

bottle from Darts Farm. Cloudy bright brown colour, no head. Neraly no carbonation. Fruity, slightly sour and pleasantly malty. Good amount of hops, slightly yeasty. Good, but not really convincing.

Bottle at Toms Ultimate Glasgow Tasting: Poured a clear amber with white head. Sweet harvest with malt. Taste seemed more corn and ordinary.
