Can. Color: Murky brown, beige head. Aroma: Caramel malt, subtle smoke and Cognac. Taste: Following the aroma. Smooth mouthfeel. Hoppy backbone. Moderate sweet and light to moderate bitterness. Slightly warming mouthfeel at the finish. Medium body, below average carbonation. Ok barrel ageing.

440ml can. Shared at Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a mostly clear dark brown colour with a thin, off-white head. The aroma is big peaty, roasty. The flavour is super dry, boozy, with a big peaty, smoky, oaky, dry woody palate. Over medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. So much better than I expected. Loved the dry oaky peaty notes.

Nose is bitter orange, pineapple, grass, melon, mandarin.
Taste comprises orange pith, grass, pine nibble, hint of candied orange peel, caramel, citric tinged straw, light breads.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with light juicy come grassy hop bitterness.
Decent.
