Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, fruity like lemon, not too sweet. Mild finish, a bit drier. Quite drinkable. Okay.

Röstiger, wenig wässriger Beginn. Geringe Herbe und Süße, nun konstant röstig. Mit der Zeit wird das Bier bei gleicher Aromenverteilung milder, leicht schokoladig. Dezent bitteres Finish, erdig, die Röstigkeit gefällt. Ein gelungenes Dunkles! 6/9/10/10/8/9

Bottle from BBF 2012. Deep Amber with a solid head. Aroma is malt and spice. Flavour is sweet malt, toffee leading to a spicy hop finish

Draught at BBF12. Good bready aroma, hint of liquorice. Very dark brown colour, red shine. Good bready flavour, hint of earth. Mild but flavourful.

bottle, thanks to kappldav! Amber colour, mid-sized off-white head. Malty, shy hints of caramel and roasted malts. Spicy hops in the lingering finish. Reminds me of Czech Vienna lagers - very nice.

bottle, thanks to kappldav! Clear pale yellow colour, mid-sized white head. Malty nose. Grainy start, good malt flavours with a pleasant sweetness and cereal character. Spicy hops in the finish.
