Cask at GBBF 2006. A hazy orange-brown beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet sulphury combined with notes of caramel - is the sulpur from the hops? The flavor is sweet malty with notes of nuts as well as light sulphury notes, leading to a dry nutty end.

Cask at GBBF 2006. Mahogany with lasting beige head. Soft in mouth with some rich malt. Creamy, lacks a certain depth, but a hidden sourness is there too. Malt fruit is nice.

Cask at the Ipswich Beer Festival 2004, gravity dispense. Aroma of ensilage and barnyard, some sulphur (over-cooked eggs). Flavour is OK, but light bodied and not very exciting. Weak background of acidity.
