On cask at Maestro in Trieste. Pours a watery amber with some fluffy, white head. Nose is quite mild, malt, some light candy, some cream soda. Flavor has black tea, some citrus pith, malt, cracker. Watery finish. Maybe this would have been better on tap with some hard carb?

hazy amber brown color. A lot of caramel malt in the nose with some fruity notes. Mouth is dominated by caramel malt, with hops in the background. Definitely a maltier IPA. Pleasant but not special.

Draft @ Green River, Bologna. Brune foncée tirant sur le noir, col épais moka crémeux. Arôme est simplement profond au niveau du malt avec un délicieux chocolaté et grillé vraiment au devant. Ce chocolaté vient carrément dominer le bouquet. Le côté houblonné reste fort discret et apporte peu en terme de complexité aromatique. Palais est ici aussi renforcé par les malts caramel choco, dark avec cette impression de chocolat noir et d’un grillé en fin de bouche. L’amertume pointe son nez en toute fin de bouche et apporte une fine note citronnée.

Dark brown, aroma befits an 8% stout, mainly chocolate with light fruit. Rich taste, silky milk chocolate body, modest bitterness, subtle burnt fruitiness and background roast, in a body that is generally quite drinkable for the style.

Bottled. A brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, fruits, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, fruits, and caramel.

Bouteille 33cl @ Il Forno di Rovescio, Bologna. BB 01/2014, lot # L09. Dorée, orangée, col blanc fin. Arôme offre un agréable bouquet fruité citronnée rappelant le Centennial et Cascade. Palais de levure sur un léger houblonné, fruité, agrumes assez agréable, le tout étant adouci par un malté subtil. Amertume reste en toute fin de bouche entre fruité, herbacé et une pointe de fleuri.

Cask @ Green River, Bologna. Orangée trouble, col léger blanc cassé. Arôme est houblonné sur ce fruité assez anglais, herbacé procurant un bouquet sec sur des pointes de citronné. Palais est houblonné et herbacé, malt grains prononcé offrant un fini râpeux-farineux sur touche de levure. Pointe d’épice aussi à noter avec un côté rappelant le gingembre et clou de girofle. Pas mal de houblons anglais dans le mixe pour une amertume subtile ponctuée par cette pointe de fruité mandarine en toute fin de bouche.

Draft @ Green River, Bologna. Dorée restant un peu moins trouble que ces consoeurs allemandes. Col blanc moyen. Arôme offre un bouquet agréable d’ester fruité, malt pâle et froment. Palais présente de fines notes d’ester banane légère procurant une petite douceur en fin de bouche. Touche d’épice, girofle, voire vanille, le tout sur un malté cara pâle et Munich en impression. Bel effort.
