Draught @ Brauerei Enzensteiner, Enzenreuth 8, Schnaittach-Enzenreuth, Bavaria, Germany 91220.Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy to fizzy, good lacing, fully to mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, hay, straw, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, caramel, nytty and orange - citrus notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110421]

Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, butterscotch, strange yeasty ! Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, pineaplle, butter, malty, fruity yeast, sweet. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, hay, straw, caramel, sugar, moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bügelverschlußflasche. Golden, clear, huge loose white head. Sweet worty nose with light caramelly traces and a distinctive medical hoppy touch. Moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, quite soft MF. Sweet worty-malty finish with a spicy-hoppy aftertaste. Pleasant stuff.......

(33cl swing top bottle) Clear, golden colour with a thick foamy white head. Sweet, strawy malty nose with shy herbal and woody hoppy notes. Light-bitter flavour, medium to light-bodied with a moderate carbonation. Malty and distinctively nutty taste with a dry and moderately bitter finish with notes of woody hops. Nice one (20.X.08).

(33cl swing top bottle, purchased at the brewery) Cloudy, orange colour with a thick and dense, slightly off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet, yeasty and fruity (citrus, peach) nose with wheaty and hoeneyish malty notes and a distinctive touch of Muscat. Sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel. Wheaty, bready malty and moderately fruity (citrus, peach) taste; fruity and wheaty, slightly sourish finish with a touch of honey in the aftertaste (18.X.08).

(swing top bottle) Extremely cloudy, murky orange colour with a thick and light-beige foamy head. Yeasty, sweet malty nose with distinctive fruity notes of orange, pears and citrus. Light-sweet and sourish flavour, medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel. Slim malty base, yeasty and slightly fruity taste; slightly sweet and sourish finish with shy phenolic spice. Not my cup of tea (21.05.08).

Bügelverschlußflasche (von MANUFAKTUM): Hazy, orangey coloured, quite stable off-white head; orangey-fruity nose with some wheaty-grainy (pardon emmer-grainy) traces; light sweetish-sourish flavour; almost watery sweetish-sourish finish. Organic, but very boring..........

Bottle (purchased at MANUFACTUM’s): Hazy, golden to orangey coloured, quite quickly vanishing white head; grainy, dusty nose, a bit sourish; light to medium bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, nearly watery; modest bitter-grainy finish. Not bad, but a bit boring.......
