Bügelverschlußflasche: Amber coloured, cloudy, small, slowly collapsing off-white head, pours like engine oil; grainy-mouldy-sourish nose; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, light bodied, but a bit oily; fruity (apples)-sourish-sweetish finish. Oooops, don’t want to drink it again......

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, murky brown colour with a short, light-beige creamy layer. Sweet and sourish fruity (apples, citrus) with mouldy yeasty accents and phenolic spices (band aid). Sourish and slightly sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a viscid mouthfeel. Slightly grainy and wheat-like malty, sourish fruity taste; sweet and slightly sour, slightly bready and grainy finish with light phenolic spice (16.04.08).

bottle, traded with pivnizub. Hazy light brown colour, medium-size head. Rather sour nose. Sour and oaky flavour that reminds me of Rodenbach. Slightl.y hoppy and malty with hints of grain. Unusual and very interesting.

bottle, traded with my beer friends from Bochum. Cloudy brownish-yellow, large and creamy head. Sour nose. Fruity and very malty, silghtly grainy and yeasty with a shy sourness. A very interesting and pleasant brew.

bottle, thanks to Bochum! Cloudy pale yellow, medium-size head. Medium-bodied, slightly yeasty with a special note. Slightly fruity as well. Rather low carbonation.

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a short foamy white head. Sweet, slightly yeasty and fruity (apricot, citrus) nose with a light hoppy shine. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth, slightly crispy carbonation. Soft malt-accented, somewhat chalky taste with yeasty and spicy accents; quite dry and slim, slightly bitter finish with light herbal hoppy notes (09.04.08).

Bottle. Light sour white-bread aroma. Cloudy orange, creamy off-white head. Peach and banana note on edgy, light bitter wheat, a unusual spicyness which just about makes it interresting and stand out from a regular Hefeweizen. Medium boudy, mellow mouthfeel. Fruity aftertaste.

Bottle. Amber, cloudy if you choose to add the yeast, fine carbonation, low head. Grain and straw nose. Fruity malt base, pronounced grain and straw notes. Low level hop balance. Slightly lighter body than it should have, a bit flat. A little bit sticky fruity and grainy aftertaste. Not really dissimilar to any other unfiltered Helles, unfortunately not terribly exiting either.

Bottle. Minerally, somewhat wheatbeerlike sour aroma. Red orange, yeast particles - pour gently next time, off-white creamy layer. Fairly harsh and sour grainy base flavor, light fruit, herbal hops. Relatively light body, sparkly mouthfeel. Acidic finish. Is it really supposed to taste like this? Maybe the bottle was a lemon, but it was well within its BB date - re-rate from another one later.

Bottle, thanks to Lach (mullet) to bring this for me from Franconia.
Yellow, clear body with a hazy shine. White, creamy head. Aroma of hops, flowers, ... Moderately bitter, moderately sweet flavour. Quite good.
