0,33 l bottle from Wijnalda. Listed with 6% abv on the label. Flat orange golden in the glass, small one finger white head. Orange and banana on the nose, some caramel. Tste is also fruity with banana and orange, some clove in the second row with wheat and yeast. Sweet honey. Below average carbonated. Nice.

0,33 l bottle from Wijnalda, Haren. Cloudy amber with a more than one finger pale beige head in the glass. Malt, some banana and pale grain on the nose. Taste is pale malty, a lot of wheat, banana and orange in the second row. Hopy background. Nice.

0,33 l bottle from Wijnalda, Haren. 2021 batch. Darkest red brwon with a msall short living head in the glass. Sugarsweet fruity malty on the nose. Little bit alcoholic. Taste starts also sweet, dark berryfruity, short choco elements. Some increasing wood in the middle section. Silk oily. Balanced alcoholic warming. Low to zero carbonation. Really nice one. High expectations for the forthcoming infused versions.

Bottle. Light gusher. Color: Dark copper, frothy beige head. Aroma: Dark dried fruit, Cognac. Taste: Quite strong Cognac. Grapes. Boozy. Cognac is, like the Eggens Vatgerijpt Jamaicaanse Rum, overwhelming the base beer. Dark dried fruit and caramel malt at the background. Over medium body, average carbonation. Moderate sweet, light bitterness. Very slightly vinuous tartness. A bit too much carbonation for this kind of beer, taking away some of the flavors. I'm a fan of Cognac BA beers,, this one is ok but definitely not one of the best

Can at THt October. Bit hazy light golden with white head. Dank weedy hops, soft alcohol, oats, pineapple, sofr wheat. Medium sweet, light bitter and tart. Medium bodied. Not that good.

Bottle. Color: Lightly hazy murky reddish brown to copper. Aroma: Dark fruit, some caramel. Fruity and boozy. Hints of marzipan. Sweetish. Taste: Sweetish, fruity Rum, some dark fruit. Quite strong, overwhelming, boozy Rum. Subtle notes of almond and marzipan. Eggens states that they barrel age at least 9 months on purpose so you can taste the barrel flavors very well. In my opinion this beer would have been more balanced with a little less barrel. Aroma is ok but too much taste of Rum and too little base beer in my opinion. Also a bit too much carbonation, hiding some of the flavors. Ok but not outstanding.

0,33 l bottle from Wijnalda, Haren. A darkest red brown in the glass with a small short living pale beige head. Smooth fruity boozy rum with malt on the nose. Really nice. Taste starts also fruity, dark cherry, malt, belgian sugar, Amaretto, some choco. Warming. Nice!

Flesje thuis gedeeld met familie. Oranje-achtig tot amberkleurig bier met matig schuim dat als een film blijft liggen. Aroma is houtig en hoppig. Smaak zoet, hoppig en fruitig. Nasmaak is licht bitter.
