Sample courtesy Grumbo. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are nice sour apples, pears, citric acid, fruits and has a nice sour and little sweet finish.

Bottle sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Pale yellow golden colour, shot-lived fizzy head and aroma of light pear flesh. Taste is sweet syrupy pear, slightly solventy, alittle tartness, with some initial biscuity, cardboardy notes. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-sweet finish. OK

Taste is sweetish, orchardy, fruity apple, woody, leathery funk, vinegary, acidic, drying. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry finish. Quite drinkable.

Taste is sweetish, fleshy, green apple, with some baked apple, caramel & butterscotch, citric notes. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tart finish. OK

19/9/2019. Bottle from Crumpton Hill Farm Shop, Herefordshire. Pours clear golden with a very small bubbly white head. Aroma of semi-sweet pears, caramel, sulphur and slight funky notes. Medium plus sweetness and very light tartness. Moderate body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Light tangy finish. Quite drinkable, second favourite of the four from Norbury.

Medium plus sweetness and very light tartness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft to flat carbonation. Light tangy, very sweet finish with a bit of wet cardboard.
