Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass light golden, small head. Dry malty aroma. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Light moldy-fruity notes. A bit wheaty. Finish well balanced. Okay.

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks very simple and I dont like that blue glass. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts fine malty, modest dry, more and more spicy with bitter background. A bit metallical. Finish well balanced. Tastes better than the bottle looks like.

Vom Faß im Wirtshaus im Freilandmuseum Bad Windsheim (nicht zu verwechseln mit dem Wirtshaus am Kommunbrauhaus im Freilandmuseum). - Tiefes Kastanienbraun. - In der Nase schönes dunkles Karamelmalz, leicht fruchtige (Pflaume) Säure, milde Malzbittere, kaum Hopfen. - Antrunk mild karamellig-dunkelmalzig und leicht röstig (Mokka, geröstete Haselnüsse). Dezente Herbe. Insgesamt überwiegen schöne Dunkelmalzigkeit und zart angebrannte Malzbittere bei zurückhaltender Süße. Durchschnittlich rezent, weich, vollmundig. Im Abgang dominiert Malzbittere; kaum Hopfen, daher ein wenig „leer“. - Interessantes fränkisches Dunkles, nicht völlig rund aber schön malzbitter und nicht so süß wie viele.

Blue 33cl bottle from trade with kevnic2008, many thanks! Pours slightly hazy golden colour with a medium good lasting white head. aroma of spicy hops, pale malt, some grain. Taste is intense hoppy, spicy, pale malt, long bitter finish.

Bottle from trade with kevnic2008, many thanks! 50cl bottle. Pours hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, clove and mild banana. Taste is yeasty, many clove, some banana, delicious!
