Neben dem inzwischen wiederbelebten Landbier Hell, gab es bis ca 2012 das Goldbraun. Dies war ein malziger Vertreter mit karamellmalzigen Noten und leicht fruchtigen Noten im Abgang. In der urigen Bügelflasche hatte es dazu ein uriges Flair und hefig-brotige Töne. Ich weine dem Bier nicht nach, aber ein bisschen schade ist es schon. Aber vielleicht kommt es ja auch wieder.

300ml fassbier at Nikita Dal Russo. A centimeter of chalk white head at the top of a crystal clear, straw-yellow coloured body with a tint of green. Good lacing. Mild aroma of pale malts and oily hops. Dry apples, grass and grain in flavour. Dry, mid-sweet ending. Lively carbonated. Refreshing on a warm summer afternoon in Wien, 28.07.2012.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yeloow colour. ´Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Getreidig fruchtiger Beginn, angenehme Herbe. Diese steigt im Mittelteil an, eine geringe Bitternote erscheint. Süffig, gut trinkbar, zum Ende etwas erdig. /10/9/9/10/9

Tap at Hoppalas Bieradies, Vienna. Pours clear, faint yellow with a foamy, white head. Mild cereal and dough aroma. medium sweet flavor with some sharp and lightly tangy cereal, and faint hay bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean, sweet finish with cereal, crispy biscuits, faint bitters and white sugar. Basic beer and pretty good.

Swing top bottle, many thanks to Quack-Duck. Hazy orange golden color with huge white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, hints of lemon, earthy notes. Taste, malty sweetness, grapefruit bitterness, yeast, hints of honey. Nice long bitter finish with earthy notes. Easy drinkable beer.

Bottle from Quack-Duck, dekuji. Pale golden color with medium white head. Sweet malty aroma with hints of bitter hops. Taste, sweet malt, nice bitterness in background, honey. Bittersweet finish. Good, much better than their Hell.

Bottle (thanx to Quack-Duck!): Pale golden to golden, visible carbonation, mid-sized stable white head, moderate herbal-piney to grassy hoppy nose, sweet pale malt underneath; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, pretty soft; slightly lingering clean bitter-sweet finish. Fine austrian stuff.....
