Really dark. Smells like cold brew coffee. Roasty coffee flavors. Semi dry. This works better than most coffee stouts I've had, which seem thinned out and watery because of the coffee. But this one was not, it had just enough malt presence to give it body.

I can't remember the last time I've had a hefe, especially one I've never had before. This starts off on a high note, I broke out my weihenstephan weizen glass and it looks great, a cloudy bright gold, large fluffy head. The nose is great, doughy with a touch of banana. Nicely carbonated, but a bit of a let down in the flavor, as the palate is so light it borders on watery, with almost no malt flavors, just a hint of sourdough bread and very light phenols. Finish is nearly empty, with lingering phenolics on the palate. So close.

Draft pour to a tulip at Green Bench. Shiny and clean golden appearance. Thin fizz head. Lovely aroma of pils grain, coriander, slight salt, and lemon. Crisp first sip, gentle funk. Really flavorful gone with a nice touch of salt late, making this a quick drink. Nice lingering lemon like tart. Yum! Delicious gose.

Draft .5 liter mug at Green Bench, St. Pete. Shiny penny copper pour with a patchy foam head. Lovely beer style to find here, and not surprised to find the style mix here at Green Bench. Refreshing taste with a soft but constant smoke. Cool finish. Subtle caramel notes with no sweetness. Ither that or the smoke notes bury it. Delicious and original festbier. Love it.

Snallygaster 2022. Poured a clear yellow color with a sizable white head. Aroma was light grassy notes. Light lemon citrus, with a clean, light malty sweetness. Pleasant stuff, nice to break up the sours and stouts I was drinking at the festival.

Snallygaster 2022. Poured a clear dark yellow color without much of a head to speak of. Aroma was light funky notes. Grape skins. Flavor was pleasant tartness, woody grape. Pretty nice stuff.
