About
In the early 1900's St. Petersburg was known as "the Green Bench City". At their height some 2,500 benches lined the downtown sidewalks inviting passers-by to slow their pace and make friends of strangers. In the same way Green Bench beer will serve as a catalyst for community and cheer. People will gather around a pint (or two) to share in both good times and bad, to discuss business or tell a joke, to reminisce about life or dream about the future, to get up and dance to the music or to just sit back, relax, and enjoy the brew.

A lightly hazed blonde ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with loads of citrusy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice. In mouth, a nice smooth fruity biscuit malt with grassy citrusy and floral hops, grapefruit, light and quaffable. On tap at brewery.

A lightly hazed golden blonde saison with a thin white head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with light grassy hops, light lychee, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light chalky character, light grassy hops, pleasant coriander, and refreshing. On tap at brewery.

Bottle thanks to Team Florida. Pours a dark brown with no head the aroma is strong brandy and wood, cherry skin. Medium mouthfeel with nice roast and chocolate, brandy and light boozy finish. Good.

Sample at Crooked Stave. Pours a hazy golden color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops and toasted malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, fruit and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft - Lemon, pepper and other citrus notes. Pale yellow with a thin head. Sweet, sour and lemon/lime citrus. Light and bright, but more like a saison. Not really sure what they are trying to do and not sure I am on board.

Draft - Vegetive hops and citrus with a little tart nose. Cloudy gold with a thin white head. Light citrus and bitterness with a dry finish. Light honey notes and some lingering sweetness.

Draft - Skunky vegative hops. Cloudy copper with a decent beige head. Skunky, pine hops with an almost woody resinous character and little bitterness.

Draft - Raisin and musty yeast. Cloudy maroon with a rich beige head. Raisin, plum, brown sugar with a bit of bitterness. Well done.
