Bottle, 22oz. It pours a beautiful black body under a finger thick dense, tan head. Spice nose with cloves. Roasted and coffee-ish. The flavor has a spiced touch, with roasted malts and some coffee. Pleasantly bitter in the end. Medium to full body. Overall, too spiced for my likings, but far from a bad beer. Very far. 091230

Bottle, 11.37%. Mild roasted aroma. Clear dark brown colour, red shine. The flavour is nicely roasted, has a distinct alcohol note as well. Tastes like a German Dunkel, only twice the alcohol level. Or rather thrice, it turns out. 737316

Tap at the Raley Field Brewfest. Pours light gold with a creamy white head. Light kandi/spice aroma. Medium body with light carbonation. Flavor is mildly funky/hoppy/spicey/citric. Seems a nice, clean lite Belgian. Finishes bitterish.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Blindtasting. Slightly hazy orangey brown with a small off-white head. Sweet aroma of dark overripe fruit and a wee whiff of butter. Quite full-bodied, burned caramel, again dark overripe fruits and some vanilla. Alcohol is evident in the finish. 060510
