Hazy dark brown beer, residual tan head. Semi soft and semi dry palate. Aniseedy dark toffee and a rumour of orange hop. That’s pretty much it but it’s a drinkable beer.

Hazy orange amber beer, no head. Sweet toffee fruit nose. Smooth dry palate. Sweet Pomegranate well integrated with sweet malt. Sweet banana undertone. Pomegranate makes this fruit beer stand out from the crowd. Smooth and sweet.

Hazy dark amber beer. Lively frothy head that dies away quickly. Smooth palate, a little dry. Fresh! Nice mix of marmalade orange and grapefruit hops with sweet and bitter notes. Fresh minerals and a trace of aniseed. Nothing shouty about this IPA but it seduces with it’s well joined up freshness.

Hazy amber beer. Little white bubbly head. Rich grapefruit hop nose with some odd sweet emulsion paint. Smooth dry palate. Rich marmalade grapefruit hops - help back by that odd milky sweet paint thing. Before the dry finish the hops turn spicy. Underpinned by toffee malt. A little off the wall but decent.

Bottle. It pours a small, off-white to light beige head over a more or less clear body. Amber in color. The aroma has a lightly sourish touch, with caramel, maltyness, dark sugars, vinegar kicks in after a while, and there’s also a touch of spices. Cardamom I think. Flavorwise it’s much the same, quite vinegar-ish and fruity with some spicyness. Dark berries, a faint note of metal and some caramel maltyness. Full-bodied and warming, tart and more or less dry. Fruity, berryish finish. Maybe a bit on the vinegarish side this one, but I like it. 120324
