This is the last of my Sidelaunch beers and it’s possibly the nicest one. Sidelaunch New Zealand Pale Ale 5% Pale straw gold with thick white foam and a great woodsy peppery fruity NZ hops. This has an ultracrisp light body and great bright hop flavor. It’s so light and crisp I almost feel it’s an IPL… the taste is vibrant, great hops. Fruity prickly pear, light malts, a touch of stone fruit. Really enjoying this one.

Side Launch Pilsner 5.9% Crystal clear gold with thick white foam and a bracing herbal hop bouquet with the slightest hint of sulfur. Light bodied and with a green bitter bite which had me thinking tettnang for some reason. Quite beautiful tree but clean beer.

Sidelaunch Passionate Sour Passionfruit Sour 4.3% 12 IBU NIce gold color with wispy white foam. The aroma is tart passionfruit with some orange blossoms and wheat notes. Medium bodied with a mouth-puckering tartness and quite high acidity. This is tasty but definitely more of a summer than a fall beer.

Sidelaunch Hibiscus Sour 4.2% Lovely reddish color with thin pink foam and a tart hibiscus aroma. Light bodied tart and dry. Solid stuff.

Sidelaunch West Coast IPA 6.3% Glowing orange gold with thick fluffy foam and a nice clean stone fruit, citrus and pine aroma. Medium to full bodied with a bitter herbal woodsy pine flavor with some citrus notes. This was courtesy of my father grabbing me a sixer when we visited the brewery.

Clear red color with beige foam and a peppery biscuit aroma. Medium bodied and crisp with some dried fruit notes. I liked it better than the Festbier.

Side Launch Festbier Nice amber brown with a toasted biscuit aroma and flavor on a medium body. The taste adds malty caramel and toffee notes. Decent stuff, big pours.
