Tasting at Matt's slaughterhouse, can
Pale blond colour, hazy. Light coconut aroma. Sourish, light, the passion fruit acidity and coconut clash a bit. Weird, but ok.

Poured from 473mL can. Hazy blonde with small white head. Subdued coconut and passionfruit with lacto. Meh. Not quite suntan lotion-y, but close.

Hazy, dull tan. No head. There's a bit of passionfruit on the nose, but quite a bit of it on the palate. Light stickiness to the malts. It's decent, but the base isn't the greatest prop for a sweet & sour passionfruit syrup.

473mL can, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma is a bit artificial, with bright tropical citrus fruits, a hint of coconut, and lacto. Flavour is a bit muffled, with citrus fruits, light tropical fruits, a hint of coconut, and lacto. Citrusy, gently acidic, with a touch of coconut and a yogurty lacto character. Nothing special, but nothing all that impressive.

This coffee lager poured a deep amber colour with a creamy, tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include sweet malts, a little ripe fruit and very light coffee. First swig was very creamy and quite sweet. Flavours of caramel, roasted coffee, maple and a little cocoa. Finish is thick, sweet and full of caramel.

Can from the LCBO. Haxy medium amber with a large frothy white head that produces some stringy lace. Nose is tropical fruit, citrus peel, light coconut and grains. Flavour is similar with a light sweet malt base and a medium pineapple and citrus bitterness. Mouth is medium with slightly soft carbonation and a sticky finish. 7+/4-/7/3+/14

Clean copper colour with some amber hue. The head is light beige, average stay with not much lacing, but a ring around the collar. Aromas of lightly sweet chocolat malts with some coffee notes. The vanilla comes out more in the taste, so does the coffee. A nice bitterness, dryness in the finish cuts the sweetness and adds that nice bitter feel to the coffee. The soft vanilla lingers nicely. Not a bad coffee lager, but not sure I could take two straight.
