Bottle. Pours a clear amber golden with a small white head. Light aroma of roasted malt, sweet malty, a touch of coffee and roasted malts and some fruitiness. Mild dry malty taste, also mild malty and only very shy bitter (chocolatey) finish.

(bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a small creamy off-white layer. Slightly sweet and toasted malt aroma with hints of alcohol. Light sweet flavour, toast-malty, slightly bready, crusty taste with a tinge of vegetables; medium to light bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel; bittersweet slim finish. Pretty drinkable but not to be overrated.

At the brewery tap. Creamy, light brown head. Virtually no lace. Fully lasting head. Clear, amber to brown body. Aroma of smoke and light malts. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter initial flavour. Lightly bitter finish. Lightly bodied. Soft carbonation. This is a weird beer. Looks like a mixture between a Rauchbier and a Dunkel, but neither the Dunkel, neither the Rauchbier aspects are very convincing nor well pronounced.

On tap at the brewery. Frothy, white head, which diminishes mostly. Clear, yellow body. Aroma of light hops. Lightly bitter initial flavour, moderately bitter finish. Nice, refreshing pilsener, but not fancy or superinteresting.

Tap, in de Wildeman. Hazy golden color, medium white head. Aroma of german hop, bit wurzig, grass. Quite bitter taste, thick, malty. Quite refreshing. --- Beer merged from original tick of Fässla Lagerbier on 16 Aug 2019 at 22:33 - Score: 7. Original review text: Was paar dagen geleden nog een afzakkertje in het hotel

Clear brown color, short head. Aroma of skunky hops, some caramel, bit malt. Malty and sweet taste, some caramel, sugar. Average dunkel.

An orange beer with a white head. The aroma is very faintly malty. The flavor though is sweet malty with light notes of caramel combined with a hints of alcohol. Boring. I find both the appearance and the alcohol content of this beer closer to that of a bock than a dunkel.
