On tap Albertsons. 32 oz grunt fill. Dark amber, slightly muddy small creamy head, streaky lacing. Malts on the aroma, hops in the background, but take over the taste, where malts are in the backseat. Pretty well balanced beer, kind of light for a strong ale. Subtle warmth.

Bottle from Albertsons. Not as bad as some of these ratings would suggest. Aroma is slightly musty, funky, almost smells like rye. Murky copper pour, small tan foamy head. Taste brings immediate bitterness, hops while not too strong, obliterate any semblance of malt. Finishes bitter, and sticks around for a while. Good, but not great, IPA.

Hazy amber color, medium sized head. Malt and caramel base, quite lean, moderately sweet, not too old style; on the other side, the hopping is very resiny and quite zesty, fairly bitter too.
The result is a fairly old style beer, but still very enjoyable.

Bottle - Some citrus and orange peel. Cloudy copper range with a small white head. Up front bitterness, touch of perfume and a long finish. Not bad.

22 oz. bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out faint piney hops and some biscuity malt to back -- smells a bit old. Flavour is similar, with spicy piney hops, backed by dry biscuity malt. A bit astringent on the finish, but it's not too detracting. Pretty average IPA. Meh.

Can. Golden color with a modest white head. Nice pithy aroma, grapefruit and pine. Deep citrus and dank hops taste... Dude this is huge for a "session" IPA. Prickly and potent, but insanely drinkable. Cool can too.

12 oz can. This is a 2015 can so ignore the entry title. It’s also 4.5% ABV, so maybe this year’s version deserves a separate entry? Aroma is bready, orange candy circus peanuts, roasty, coffee, nutty. Thankfully the circus peanut off-putting aroma goes away mostly, leaving all other nice smelling deScriptors in place. Pours black with brown edges and a medium tan head with good retention. Taste is sweet and roasty, faint tartness, light bitterness. Kind of chalky. Not bad.

Bottle from Albertsons. This ones all over the place, like pinkzambia said, lots of different elements of lots of different styles. Yes, its black, head a bit thin for a stout. Tons of sweetness, mostly malt, some candy. Then there?s a smidge of bitterness, equal parts roast grains and hops. So they admit it?s a sweet, malt bomb, and that?s what we get. Definitely not for everyone?s palate. Later warming brings out lots of doppelbock

12oz can, 2015 release... Stats look to be the same as this one. Dark brown pour, soft brown head, spotty lacing. Nose is distinctly milk stout; sweet lacto, cocoa, and roast. Good flavor of roast and bittersweet. More cocoa. Nice winter seasonal.
