On tap at bier thirty. Pours out a golden topped with a sand head. Nose is mostly cereal malts grainy and a touch of hops. Taste is more of the grainy cereal malts and just a little grassy hops on the end.

Bottle from a friend. Misses on all marks, body thin, head weak, taste and aroma heavy on clove, hints of the banana and bubblegum, but its the cheap bubblegum from a pack of trading cards, and the fake banana from hard candy. Metallic, chalky finish...iron horse can do so much better....

Bottle brought to bottle share from Safeway in Ephrata Wa. Iron Horse’s anniversary ale, and its a real good straight up IPA, nice hop choices and lots of fruitiness while still bringing home the bitterness. Orange/amber/gold body with nice medium substantial head. Nicely done IH!

12oz can, no date but this has only recently appeared in town. I decided to break out my Hoegaarden tumbler, the 500mL tumbler. Poured it as if I was pouring a Basque cider. Obviously I have a giant head with a giant lacing. Very cloudy gold body with no clarity. Aroma is traditional citrus and pine for PNW hoppy beers. But low resin, a dry moderately bitter citrus skin. Some light lemon candy (not lemon pledge). I don’t get any sweet or caramel malt characteristics. Flavor is lemon juice hops with some light apple skin hop finish (not the green apple off flavor). Surprisingly, mild-moderate bitterness. Clear, clean ho focus, no malts getting in the way, not resin, no over the top bitterness, under 5%. Surprisingly hard to find session IPA that fit those characteristics.

12 oz can poured. I actually picked up a six pack of this in Wenatchee when I was there for a softball tournament, but as most softball tournaments, beer may have been involved. One can managed to survive the weekend and make it home to my fridge, and now the rating can be done in a deserving setting. Pours a thick cloudy orange color with a ton of foam head. Orange fruit and mild hop aroma. Flavor is bright with orange fruit, tangerine, flavor. Sweet. Overall a solid session. I could kill a bunch of these. Oh yeah, I already did. Solid beer guys.

Bottle from Safeway-Ephrata. Hops from the get go, permeating every aspect of this beer. Well blended too, elements of citrus and pine, medium weight, lingering bitterness. Excellent IIPA.

On tap at Base Camp Hailey. Rating this as a cream ale. Nice pour, medium weight body with thick creamy head. Aroma is pure lager grains, in a good way. Taste follows with smooth very texture and delicious malt bill. Tasty beer, refreshing, easy drinker. Don’t be put off by the low scores, its really pretty good.

On tap at the 12th Man Club. Pours a clear dark brown with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of sweet dark grains with a sweet chocolate and a bit of bread. Flavor has lots of sweet dark grains as a touch of chocolate and toffee underlying.
