From a 22 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy copper with an off white head. Aroma of dank grass. Flavors of alfalfa and pine. Bitter finish.

Bottle from Albertsons. Medium golden, clear body with substantial foamy head. Head subsides to small skin. Yeasty, musty aroma follows to somewhat buttery taste, overall oily feel. Finishes fast and leaves a metallic aftertaste. Looks like a duck, walks like a duck, but not quite a duck....

16 oz can at Safeco courtesy of running into an old friend. Small world it is, and I’m surprised more and more each day. Copper brown color. Sweet malt heavy aroma. Flavor is very sweet, overly rich caramel malt, and some chocolate. Malt bomb is an understatement. It’s always fun to have a beer that I’ve seen around for several years, but never gave it a full try. Harsh sweetness, and less my type of stout, but good qualities.

Can from Brewers Haven. Maybe it’s the fact that I just drank Son of a Baptist, but this seems kind of light. Milk sweetness evident in taste, but all around seems kind of weak and thin. Woody aroma, thin body, overly sweet taste.

Bomber from the grocery store. Aroma is grassy, earthy hops, grain; smells like a pilsner. Pours hazy orange with a bone-white head that falls into a big-bubbly ring after a couple minutes. Taste is highly bitter, with a nice German hop profile. Tastes a lot like a highly bitter pilsner. This was a lot better than expected. This is the best beer I’ve had from this brewery in a long time.

Bottle from Albertsons. Hazy orange copper body with nice fluffy head. Light hoppy aroma gives way to tasty blend of malt and hops. Slightly dry, tart finish. Notes of caramel and toffee. Nice.

On tap Albertsons. 32 oz grunt fill. Dark amber, slightly muddy small creamy head, streaky lacing. Malts on the aroma, hops in the background, but take over the taste, where malts are in the backseat. Pretty well balanced beer, kind of light for a strong ale. Subtle warmth.
