Can. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a decent amount of citrus with some grass and grains backing. Flavor has a nice citrus note with some grains and lemon underlying.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. 2016 version, 6.7% ABV, 60 IBU. Dark amber pour with small, but lasting beige head. Light malty aroma leads into much fuller malty taste. Hops aff dome bitterness, not overwhelming, but nice bite. Slightly metallic notes, but overall pretty nice.

Bomber from the grocery store. Aroma is toast, bread crust, caramel, spice (cinnamon?). Pours clear brown with a medium beige head with great retention and some lace. Taste starts out sweet and roasty, finishing herbal hop bitter; flavors of cough drop, lotion, bread, cocoa. A tad more bitter than I usually care for in this style. Pretty average for style, but itโ€™s not bad.

This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a dark ruddy amber color almost brown with a sustaining fingerโ€™s worth of white to off white foamy head dissipating at a snailโ€™s pace to a gentle low riding valley of silky foam. Nice show.
The aroma blends a nice sturdy sweet caramel rich and toffee malt backbone to citric and grassy hops. Bitterness somewhat low but seems good for the style at least.
The flavor lends a hand to the crisp sweet balance of it all. Nice lingering balance of sweet to bitter in the aftertaste leading into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable feel to it. Carbonation seems to run light.
Overall, itโ€™s a good amber ale that I could come back to.
