Draught @ the brewpub. Pours hazy darkish amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with touches of honey and hops. Sweetish flavour of yeast and malt, with notes of honey and touches of butter. Hints of dia. Estery and malty aftertaste with bready hints. Well, drinkable but not my favourite kind of beer.

Pours light brown from the bottle. A frothy to foamy head lingers. Aroma is strongly of honey at the outset. Over time this lessens and a caramel note is noticeable. So are mild mineral notes. Taste is sweet, full of honey. Not bad at the outset but a bit cloying over time. It’s also a one trick pony— not much else is going on here. Body is light, a bit clingy, and the brew fails to fully hide the 6% ABV. There’s a mild alcohol burn at the end. Overall, drinkable but rather rough and uneven.

@ Kaunas Brewpub. Coppery color with an off-white and creamy head, good lacework and mild duration. Aroma has notes of light toasted malts, light honey with flowery hints. Flavor is slightly sweet, good maltiness with a light toasty mouthfeel. Smooth on palate with light bitterness in the final.

Medium deep beige head. Clear brown body with light carbonation. Faint, fruity honey aroma with spice notes. Sweetish dusty honey taste with strawy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy honey aftertaste with spicy notes. It’s perfectly fine, even a bit of character. (0.25l draft at brewpub.)

Medium offwhite head. Slightly hazy yellow body with light carbonation. Spicy mealy herbal aroma with oily notes. Dryish dusty fruity herbal taste. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish dusty strawy aftertaste with herbal earthy notes. Aftertaste lingers a long time. Really comes alive in the aftertaste. Very nice and highly drinkable. Some Lithuanian character, even.
