Old rating - A 500ml bottle brought home from my last Guernsey trip in 2010. Notes from that time were pours a dark amber colour with thin white head. Aromas & tastes of sweet malt. medium body. medium bitter finish.

Old rating - 08/05/2023 - on cask at The Slaughterhouse, St Peter Port. 13/06/2015 - on cask at The Lamplighter, St Helier Jersey. For the 70th Liberation anniversary. Pours a amber colour with white head. Decent bitter.

Old rating - A 500ml bottle brought back from my last trip to Guernsey in 2010 & drunk at home later that year. Pours a dark brown colour with a creme head. Aromas of malt. Tastes a hint smokey which is a touch sweet, a mild bitter finish.

Old rating - This is a bright chestnut brown best bitter which I've enjoyed this one a few times.. Restrained malt tones are nicely balanced with a subtle but complex hop aroma. The finish is clean and dry with a moreish bitterness.

Old rating from 2017 - From the cask at the Lamplighter in St Helier, Jersey. Pours amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of banana, citrus, pine & earth malt. Moderate body. Moderate bitter finish

Pint from the cask at Rockmount Hotel at Cobo. Pours clear red with a white creamy head. Aromas & tastes of dark fruits, caramel, toffee & malt. Medium body. Light bitter finish. Enjoyable
