Nearly clear amber....a re-bottle, so very little head. Bread, caramel aroma. Slightly flat, bready malt and caramel taste..... Sample had some age on it, but really not too bad.

Birthday present from my sister-in-law. Fruity malt aroma. Medium chestnut. Thick beige head. Initial malty caramel sweetness. Develops a hoppy bitterness into the finish. Medium bodied. Slick. A prickle of carbonation. Middling finish. A decent ESB. Enjoyable.

Bottle at Bespin, thanks to Bropey, 03/09/15. Clear copper golden with a moderate off white head. Nose is biscuit malt, toffee, straw, light vanilla, papery twang. Taste comprises toffee, biscuit, bready notes, light spice, hint of dark fruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with low level bitterness. So so.

Bottle share at Mr Smith’s Stratoflat. Thanks to Paul for this one. Lightly hazy amber beer, thin cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Thin semi dry malts, mildly tangy caramel and thin cream. Tangy dried fruits. Light semi dry finish. All the hallmarks of a pretty average beer but somehow the sum is greater etc and it pulls itself together in to a decent drinkable bitter.
