Bottle - thanks Eric! Pours clear reddish hazel with a small beige head and some lacing. Downhill from there, unfortunately. Aroma is grain, grass, corn, caramel. Flavor is the same, light plus sweet, light bitter, light astringence. Medium body, a bit boozy. Not so great.

750 c&c from LetsPour.com. Pours very hazy orange amber with a off-white head. Aroma is caramel with some rather pungent dark fruit. Full bodied or nearly so. Flavor is smooth dark caramel with moderately dark fruit - it is much closer to dry than sweet. For some reason it seems a little boozy. Think I’m picking up a very little metallic aspect. Overall a nice drink.

750 c&c from LetsPour.com. Pours translucent gold with a creamy/foamy off-white head. Aroma is fruity ester with a little spice. Med body. Flavor is bready with Belgian yeast spice. Arguably some banana ester. This is a rather "plain" tripel - which works really well. Finishes fruity/bready/dry with a little spice.

Bottle thanks to ratman. Pours with a clear deep bronze hued body with a tan head. Aromas are of gingerbread, nutty cookie, biscuity malt, eugenol, cinnamon and a lot of spice. Flavors are lightly metallic, thin, bitter, spicy tannin, gingerbread, spice, clove and nutmeg. Very thin bodied and spicy, lively bubbles.

Bottle shared by Irishboy. Pours darkly ruddy with little or no head. Aroma is spicy - but perhaps more towards pumpkin pie than Xmas. Med + body. Flavor is so pie spice. It works, but it’s a rather different Xmas ale. Judged without regard to season, it’s a nice spiced ale.
