(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of sliffy. Clear amber golden with a yellowish, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, Danish rye and a slight acidity. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel, sweetish roasted malt and a little caramel. Rather subdued bitterness. Pleasant and highly drinkable. 190408

Hazy brown with medium off white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, hops chocolate. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, caramel and hoppy notes. Ends slightly bitter.

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of fruit - peaches being the strongest, but also spicy notes - especially of coriander. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of fresh fruit, hops, over ripe fruit, and alcohol, which in the latter part really makes its presence known, and leads to a bitter finish.

Blind tasting at Papsoes place, another great session, thanks Henrik! Beer #2: Pours hazy amber with a diminished white head. Aroma is fruity and barley. Initial flavour is light woody, caramel and with a light bitterness. Shows a light sweetness to the caramel malt following. Light fruity note swept in a light caramel malt base, light spice and acidic touch into the finish.

22oz bottle Pours out a very dark brown almost black topped with atanhead. A very nice aroma of wood, nuts, and some sweetness. Tast of nuts a little vanilla and some sweet chocolate. A very tast treat. Thanks to my good friend Y AKA the MULE for picking this up at New Holland Brewing Company and flying it back to Boise.

Bottle. Thick black pour that slowly releases a one finger orangish tan head. Aromas are a lovely mix of burnt malt scents that are reminsicent of peat and a little smoke, coffee and dark chocolate, soy sauce and a little touch of alcohol. Flavor is more of the same with a thick alcoholic bite to it. Molasses and soy flavors come through stronger in the taste than in the nose. Nice, but there is a little bit too much bite to the alcohol at cellar temperature.

Wooooooh, black as used harley oil. Has a foamy choco mousse head. that fades after a few minutes to a tea froth. Roasty chocolaty aroma that comes across rather attractive and inviting. However, first taste yanks you back to rude imperial stout reality. A just plain illiterate stout at best. Hints of bitter chocolate in the flavors, lets chew on old campfire coals. Finish is 40 miles of bad road. Biting terrible linger. perfect for this style.

Pour is a nice clear tan with a big white head. Aroma is a nice mix of caramel malts and a very clean smelling hop. Flavor is some dark smoky malts and again a bit of earthy hops. The pronounced hops make this amber a little better than the rest. Excellent session beer.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Dark ruby red colour with frothy, pale brown head. Malty nose with chocolate, wild berries, dark fruit and hops. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, coffee and hints of smoke. Full malt character with modest bitterness. Nice chocolatey finish. Nice beer with leanings in the winter bock direction.

Bottle: Piney and resin aroma with florals and grapefruit. Some malty sweetness. Golden amber color with a creamy beige head. Soft on the palate, but flavorful with floral hops and lingering pine. Finished kind of abrupt. Good, but I had high expectations. Thanks ucusty.
